Generals of the Yang Familyis a

classic and prestigious Peking Opera which praises the patriotism and devotion

of women. The main plots are the male generals of the Yang family sacrificed

their lives to protecting their motherland Song Dynasty. However, confronted

with the false accusation of the traitor minister Pan Remei, the 90-year-old

dowager She Saihua gathered a troop of female warriors full of valour and vigour

to fight against the invasion armies from Liao Dynasty.
