NENU
organized more than 100 international students to visit Beijing for cultural
investigation from November 3 to 5. International students visited the Royal
Garden of Qing Dynasty—the Summer Palace, the Royal Palace of Ming
Dynasty and Qing Dynasty—the Imperial Palace Museum, the Stadium of
Bird’s Nest and Water Cube where the 29th Summer Olympic
Games was held. What’s more, students also walked up the Great Wall of Juyong
Pass.
The
international students were in the best of spirits to inquire the stories
behind these places. Students said that this cultural field trip was pretty
different from learning from the textbook because the cultural investigation
allowed them to obtain knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere which helped them
understand China by first-hand experience.
Through
this cultural field study trip, international students have more in-depth
understanding of Chinese traditional culture and appreciate the magnificent
buildings in Beijing as well as the beautiful scenery of China. They said that
they would cherish the opportunity to study in China and strive to become the
messengers of cultural exchanges.
NENU will
organize activities of a variety of forms for international students! Coming
soon!
