According to the University calendar, the winter vacation time and related arrangements are notified as follows:
I. Period
1. The winter vacation is from January 20, 2024 (Saturday) to February 25 (Sunday). Continuing international students should register at ISO and your school on February 22 and 23. The classes will begin on February 26(Monday).
2. Holidays: New Year's Eve (February 9); Spring Festival Holidays: February 10-17.
3. The University will provide a pick-up service at the Longjia International Airport on February 28 from 09:00 to 21:00, please make an appointment on the website of studyatnenu in advance if you need the service.
4. Self-financed students majoring in Chinese and foundation students please follow the instructions of the International School of Chinese Studies about the winter vacation arrangements and registration for the new semester.
II. ISO Office Hours
ISO teachers are available from 08:30-11:30 and 14:00-16:30 every Monday. During the winter vacation, services including but not limited to insurance guidance and issuance of various certificates, residence permits, and visa application documents will not be available as usual as on school days. Please make an appointment with the ISO in advance if you urgently need those services to avoid unnecessary losses or frustrations.

III. Opening Time of University Gates
For Renmin Street Campus
1. West Gate pedestrian passage: 24 hours
2. South Gate pedestrian passage: 06:30-19:30
3. Northeast Gate: 06:30-18:30
4. University Hospital Gate: 07:00-18:00
5. Pedestrian passage for the School of Physical Education is closed
For Jingyue Street Campus
1. Gate 2 pedestrian passage: 24 hours
2. Gate 6 pedestrian passageway: 07:00-19:00
3. Other gates are closed
IV. Dining Halls
1. Remin Street Campus
The South Dining Hall is normally open with basic meals served from 06:30-8:30, 10:40-12:30, and 16:30-18:00; Halal Food is normally open with basic meals served. The North Dining Hall is closed.
2. Jingyue Street Campus
Student Dining Hall No.1 is normally open with basic meals served from 06:30-8:30, 10:40-12:30, and 16:30-18:00; Halal Food is normally open with basic meals served; Student Dining Hall No.2 is closed.
V. Campus Supermarket
09:30 to 19:30 from January 22 to February 20;
11:00 to 13:00 from February 9 to February 16.
VI.Express and Parcels
9:00-17:00 from January 22-February 7 and February 16-February 20;
Closed from February 8 - February 16
VII. University Bus
Shuttle buses will operate normally on January 20, January 21, February 21, February 22, and February 23; no shuttle buses will be arranged from January 22 to February 20.
VIII. Library
1. Vacation office hours from January 20 to February 25;
2. During the winter vacation, the remote lending service is suspended;
3. Books borrowed that should be returned from January 15 to February 29 could be returned before March 1, and books that should be returned on other dates should be returned in time according to the expiry date of the system;
4. Closed from February 10 to February 17.
IX. Stadiums
All indoor courts will be closed from February 9 to February 14, and the opening times and open courts on other dates are as follows:
Remin Street Campus: 09:00-17:00 Complex Stadiums, Table Tennis, and Basketball Courts in the North Dining Hall.
Jingyue Street Campus: 09:00-17:00 Basketball Court and Stadium Corridor
X. Information Technology Office
08:30-11:30 and 13:30-16:30 from Monday to Friday;
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and February 9 to February 16, 2024.
