Almost 50 NENU international students participated in the Dunhua
Ice and Snow Culture Field Study Trip from January 9 to 11, 2018. A series of
educational activities were arranged for the students. Students watched art
performances and winter outdoor swimming, fish catching during the winter. Students
from Myanmar and Ghana also contributed shows to the art performances. Apart
from that, students visited Yangge Dance Museum and Liudingshan Mountain Park.
Some students even experienced the hot spring.
This culture study trip provided a unique opportunity
for international students to deepen their understanding about ice and snow
culture of Dunhua, especially winter outdoor swimming. Students said that they
would cherish the opportunity to study in China and strive to become the
messengers of cultural exchanges between China and the world.
