Dear International Students,
According to the NENU University calendar, the winter vacation is from January 19 to February 25, 2024. To provide better service, please pay attention to the following:
1.Please pay attention to the expiry date of your passports and residence permits or visas. If you need to apply for a visa extension, please come to ISO to apply for the documents 30 days before the expiry date. Students who need to extend their study duration, please complete the study extension procedure first and then apply for a residence permit or visa.
2.During the winter vacation, services including but not limited to insurance guidance and issuance of various certificates such as Non-criminal Records, Pre-graduation Certificates, and Student Certificates will not be available as usual as on school days. Please make an appointment with the ISO before January 15 to avoid unnecessary losses or frustrations.

Notice for Foreigners Applying for "Certificate of No Criminal Record"
1.Foreigners who have resided in China for a total of 180 days (inclusive) or more since their first entry and with a residence permit may apply for the Certificate of No Criminal Record.
2.The following documents should be submitted for the application by an individual.
1) Your valid identity document (foreigner's passport or permanent residence permit)
2)"Inquiry Application Form" (accurately fill in the starting date and ending date of the inquiry).
3)When another person is entrusted to apply for you, a letter of trust and a valid identity document of the entrusted person should be submitted as well.
4)If you used to hold another passport during the period inquired, the previous passport or hard copy should be submitted.
5)You should also submit the visa and stamps of entry and exit of your passport within the period inquired.
