In order to

encourage international students to study hard and be positive as well as to

improve reputation of NENU and attract more international students to study

here, NENU set up Self-supporting International Students Scholarship. Details of

this year are as below.

Qualifications for Application

NENU Self-supporting

language students and degree students (including undergraduates,postgraduatesanddoctoral

students); language students are required to apply with academic records of

2017 spring semester (Language students who already won scholarship in April

2017 cannot apply again).

Applicants should abide by laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of

China as well as regulations of NENU. They are also expected to be hardworking,

active and well-conducted in both academic study and extra-curricular activities.

Undergraduates can apply for the scholarship with academic records of 2016;

postgraduates and doctoral students should apply for the scholarship only by

the academic records of the first and the second academic years.

New degree students should apply for the scholarship with academic

transcripts and academic works from the previous study period.

CSC, CIS Scholarship students and exchange

students whose tuition fees are exempted are not eligible to apply for this

scholarship.

Criteria

Language students with excellent academic grades and good attendance rate

in 2017 spring semester;

Degree students:

 Continuing

students: applicants should have elected at least three courses of each

semester in last academic year and got excellent scores in each course;

  Undergraduates: applicants should have got excellent academic records in

the period of senior high school;

 Postgraduates: applicants should have got excellent academic records in the

period of undergraduate.

 Doctoral students: applicants should have got excellent academic records in

the period of graduation or have published articles in famous international academic

journals.

Language students please submit academic

transcripts of 2016; New students please submit academic transcripts and

academic works from the previous study period.

Other supporting documents, such as certificates

of awards and honors.

Application Duration

Please send above materials to ISO (Room 624, Administration Building)

before 16:30 on 1 November; ISO will evaluate the applications with principle

of fairness and justice.
