Language Student Programs
NENU school of International Education undertakes the tasks of teaching and training undergraduates with majors in Chinese Language and Literature, Masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and language students. Language student program includes long-term language class and short-term class, and it enrolls language students in both spring and autumn. School of International Education offers not only a diversity of language teaching activities, but also thematic lectures on topics such as Chinese cultural knowledge, Chinese talent skills and Chinese improvements. It also offers optional courses such as writing,calligraphy, shadow boxing, folk dance and folk music. Besides, it arranges such practical activities for language students as Chinese family visiting, factory visiting and society investigation. All these provide language students with favorable platform and conditions to develop themselves and enable them to learn Chinese happily in China and have a deeper understanding of Chinese language.

Professional Basic Courses for Preparatory Education
Preparatory education in NENU mainly prepares international students who are interested in studying for their undergraduate degrees in China. By adopting the intensive Chinese teaching pattern, the preparatory education ensures international students to:
